The El Rey De Lovers contest in Cabo San Lucas, MX has come and gone and one rider has risen above the rest. That rider was none other than Zap team rider, Yahir Valencia! Yahir handled the conditions so well all weekend long with crazy wraps, bashes, barrels, and technical tricks. Coming in third was his brother Gerardo Valencia who skimmed with his signature powerful yet smooth style as well as new team rider Leandro Freitas just missing the main podium but securing a very respectable 5th place. The awards celebration went off at Cabo Saloon the night after the finals day and with everyone in attendance, Yahir took his crown. Congrats to our team riders and all the other riders in the contest! Also, thank you to all the sponsors who made this event so great! We can’t wait for next year!
